NEA Achievement

The present team headed by the president, Shri Vipin Malhan took over immediate after the election held on    09/July/2011.


         The Newly Elected Body took various steps to put the NEA’s wheel on track so that problems of the entrepreneurs could be taken up and sorted out in a phased manner. To speed up the work, executive body held two E.C Meetings on 16/07/2011 & 10/08/2011 in which important decision were taken for the upliftment & betterment of the Noida industries. A brief note of their achievements so far, is given below: 


1.      A Help center has been set up in the NEA office for the convenience of the entrepreneurs. Any entrepreneur can contact in person/or on phone between 3:00pm to 5:00 Pm and can explain his problem to the Office Bearer/ E C members  available in the NEA by rotation. 


2.   For the smooth functioning of NEA separate Committees have been formed, comprising of its Chairman/co-Chairman and members to deal with the problems at the earliest possible relating to the individual Departments.


3.   Shri A.P Mishra, Suptdg. Engr.UPPCL was invited in the NEA office on 26.07.2011 in an introductory meeting. Members discussed with Shri A.P Mishra various electricity.problems and interrupted supply causing financial loss to the entrepreneurs. Shri. Mishra assured to ensure uninterrupted supply and to attend other complaints to on priority basis.  He also informed that Load sanctioning applications shall no more be sent to the Authority for approval and will now onwards be disposed off in the Deptt. itself.


4.    Shri Yadav Singh, Engineer-in-chief, Noida was also invited in the NEA office on 03/08/11 to discuss various problems relating to cleanliness, road repairing,blockage of sewer etc in the industrial sectors. Shri Yadav Singh, as per his commitment, started visiting various industrial sectors on every Tuesday along with his colleagues. This showed good results in the field of cleanliness work / sewerage problem in the industrial sectors.


5.  Keeping in view the requirement of Residential Plots for the entrepreneurs under the reserved quota, President held meeting with the CEO & later in the press conference on 05/08/11 in the NEA office. President sounded the Administration about the programmed of launching campaign, if entrepreneurs are ignored in the matter of allotment of Residential Plots under reserved category. Later, the CEO assured that the demand of the entrepreneurs will be considered after the farmer’s quota of  residential plots is fulfilled.


6.    A press Conference was held in the NEA office on 17/08/11 to disseminate the information about the NEA’s support to Shri Anna Hazare “Movement against Corruption”. A grand rally was also organized in this connection in Noida Stadium Sector-21A on 24/08/11.


7.    NEA’s First news letter was launched in an inaugural ceremony by Shri Surinder Singh Nagar M.P Gautam Buddha Nagar on 26/08/11. This news letter was distributed amongst the entrepreneurs as well as Government offices in Noida.


8.   NEA, in association with the Provident Fund Commissioner organized a Seminar i.e program on E-Return Tool on 13/09/11 in the Indra Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sector-6 Noida. Hundreds of entrepreneurs participated in the Seminar and they were made aware of the policies, schemes relating to Provident Fund and services to the subscribers through E- governance etc. 


9.    President held meeting with the Addl. Commissioner, Trade Tax on 26-7-2011 and informed her about the frequent raids by the SIB officials and harassment of entrepreneurs by them. Matter of 5% entry tax on Iron/Ferrous metal etc. was also taken up with the Addl.Commr. She assured to look into the matter and take it up at the appropriate level.


10.  Secy. General and other Office Bearers attended Udyog Bandhu meetings held on 15-7-2011 and 29-8-2011 In the DM office Collectorate Suraj Pur. While raising matters regarding Law & Order situation in Noida and enforcement of Single Window System in Noida, they requested the DM to hold Udyog Bandhu meeing in NEA office/Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sec. 6 also so that more officers and  entrepreneurs of Ph. I and phase III may participate in the meetings. DM took note of the demand of the NEA. OBs also raised  the demand in the USS meeting hold on 20-9-2011 for lifting the ban from the units having  Mobile Tower Installations for             sanctioning Elec. Load to them, issuing possession/functional letters, selling/transferring of the property by them, declaring eligible for allotment of Residential plots etc. to them
